TattooGenius helps you find black-ink tattoo ideas, then figure out the questions worth asking before you book. The pictures are AI-created flash-style illustrations — inspiration, not photos of real tattoos and not something to copy onto skin as-is.

What TattooGenius is

Two things sit together on purpose: a browseable gallery organised by subject, style, and placement, and a small set of decision guides for size, visibility, and the studio conversation.

Tattoo flash historically meant ready-made drawings on a shop wall. We adapt that idea into a catalog you can search. For a general background on tattooing as a practice, see the Wikipedia article on tattoos.

How to use the site

  • Browse a subject or placement hub until two to four images feel right.
  • If you are stuck on where it should live or how small it can go, read a guide before collecting more pictures.
  • Open a design for short notes and a related guide — not as a finished stencil.
  • Show the references to a licensed tattoo artist and let them redraw size, placement, and line weight for your skin.

How designs are made

Images are AI-generated illustrations styled as black-ink flash on paper. They are not photographs of healed tattoos, not a booking with a studio, and not a generator you type prompts into on the homepage.

What we will not do

  • We are not a tattoo studio and do not tattoo anyone.
  • We do not quote prices, rank pain, or give medical or aftercare instructions.
  • We do not treat cultural or personal meaning as a fixed rule for a motif.
  • We do not sell machines, ink, or flash as a product.
